  1. I’m sorry about my links appearing on the spreadsheet twice, Elizabeth – when I hit “submit” on the form nothing seems to happen, all the fields are still populated, so I try again and whoops! It had gone through. I’ve done it twice now.

    • Don’t worry, Shannon. The team picks up any duplicates on the Google spreadsheet. (And sorry for this belated reply. I have no idea why I didn’t see your comment till now!)

  2. Oh dear, think I’ve just done that too…

  3. Yes – happens to us, too. The link must be slow – but it doesn’t show that it’s connecting. I’ve just entered one twice again. Sorry, Elizabeth.

    • I think the Google spreadsheet is reaching its limit. We’ll be creating a new one and splitting them into two sections, I believe, Jan-Jun and Jul-Dec. If we’re lucky, that may speed things up. In any case, don’t worry. We just delete the duplicates.

Thanks Elizabeth…yes I received your response yesterday to say you were checking it out. Shelleyrae is too I think, and I’ve tried again this morning, and it’s still not working (for me!) There are two books I need to add, so yes, I can put them here:)

The Shadow Year by Hannah Richell http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/570357618

The Spirit of Imagination by S.A. Tawks http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/638605102

Thanks again for getting back to me:)

    • Hi Brenda
I just managed to put them in without a problem. On the page you see, C=can you scroll up and see “Submit another review”?

All it has above is…. “Link your 2013 review

Fill out the Google form below to add your reviews.

Reviews will appear on the AWW Review Listings page after a 7-day delay. (If you want to make sure your link has been recorded you should be able to find it on the raw spreadsheet.)

Then at the bottom it says “Thank you for adding your entry”.

I checked on my other link from the AWW13 group too, and it’s the same.

    Sorry:(

Thanks again, thanks for fixing the spreadsheet too. I guess the genre for The Shadow Year is Contemporary Fiction and the other one is childrens/teens too.

  14. I can’t see the form either. I’m using Safari. I used to be able to see it.

Safari. It usually works, but we’re on holiday, so it might be something going on down here…

  17. Hi Elizabeth, for some reason the form isn’t appearing for me tonight, even though I’ve refreshed my page a few times. Here’s the link to my review of ‘Girl Defective’, the new YA by Simmone Howell.

      • Hi Elizabeth,
I’ve just tried again and it’s still not working. I use chrome. And I’ve refreshed the page too. I noticed in the comments above that you’re reworking the spreadsheet – is there a way for you to keep the link I posted above and add it when that’s up and running?

  18. Yes thanks Elizabeth…I can’t get it at all on Firefox but can on Chrome, so that’s what I’m using at the moment. I’m glad it’s not just me though….though it would be good if it worked for all of us. Some weird little bug in the system I guess. Thanks for getting back to me.

I have not been able to access the spreadsheet for weeks now – the last one was mid-June.

I know google dropped a lot of its online applications at the start of July – including documents and I stopped getting access when the dropping happened. Coincidence?

I use Internet explorer at work – safari here at home as well as chrome. Nothing is working. I have 5 reviews to link – plus a 6th on the 1st when the review goes ‘live’

    the books are:
    22. Flame Tree Hill by Mandy Magro

the one going live on the 1st August will be:
    27. Poisoned Waters by Ermisenda Alvarez

    • Hi Sally, I’ve added your links to the spreadsheet. We haven’t been able to find out why some people can’t see the form (your idea that it may have something to do with Google dropping some applications may be right), so it looks like you’ll need to keep adding your links via the comments. If you could mention the genre as well for each title, that would be great.

I’m linking my review for Amy Andrews’ ‘Tamming The Tycoon’ which is romance and the link to the review is: http://nevendbookshelf.wordpress.com/2013/09/11/review-taming-the-tycoon-by-amy-andrews/

And my review of Jessica Shrivington’s ‘Between the Lives’ which is Young Adult or New Adult and the link for my review is here: http://nevendbookshelf.wordpress.com/2013/09/12/review-between-the-lives-by-jessica-shrivington/

I’ve been slack of late and forgotten to upload a bunch of reviews, but I’ll hold off on linking them all for now and hopefully I can see the form soon and upload them then :)

    • Hi Jess
It’s a pain, isn’t it? We’ve tried a few things to sort it out, but it appears to be a Google/Wordpress incompatibility of some kind. If you put the rest of your links in the comments here, we can add them manually to the spreadsheets. (I’m nostalgic for Mr Linky!)

  32. I’m finding it hard to categorise some of the picture books I’ve reviewed. I just added my link to Alison Lester’s Imagine and put it down as speculative – uh, because the kids speculate? – but I honestly didn’t know what box to tick. Can anyone recommend a way to categorise picture books as a genre? They can be really tricky!

    Reply
    • Hi Shannon, Thanks for the query. Don’t worry too much about genre in picture books. They’re put together collectively as books for children.
