Welcome, it is my pleasure to bring you the November 2017 round-up for Erotica, Romance and Romantic Suspense for the first time. I have very much enjoyed the process of collating all the reviews this month. I hope you are all on track with your challenge this year, it’s hard to believe there is only one more month left to get your reviews in! In November, we had 11 reviews submitted for romance, from 8 different authors. Brenda is our top reviewer this month, submitting 3 romance reviews. Thank you Brenda and all the challenge participants that added to the romance reviews list this month.

In the lead to Christmas a number of notable rural romance writers have released their books. Mandy Magro is a very popular author of the rural romance genre. Moment of Truth, Magro’s latest release, marks her 10th novel. Moment of Truth was enjoyed by two reviewers this month. Brenda says:

Action packed with heartache and terror from the very first page, Moment of Truth is an excellent romantic suspense novel by Aussie author Mandy Magro. I could feel the intense Queensland heat, see the beautiful countryside, and the majesty of the horses and brumbies which Ethan trained. A thoroughly enjoyable novel.

In a review given by Michelle of Beauty & Lace, the suspense level provided the most enjoyment in her reading of Moment of Truth:

There is a lot to love about Moment of Truth, the suspense side of the story is well drawn out and there are some pretty interesting twists that I wasn’t expecting. I really enjoyed the suspense side of the story and I was hooked, always with the one more chapter to try and find out what was going on.

Another new release hit bookshelves in November. Prolific Australian rural romance author Karly Lane published Six Ways to Sunday. Theresa from Theresa Smith Writes had nothing but praise to give to Lane’s latest release. Theresa states:

Karly Lane’s clear passion for rural Australia, along with her intelligent interweaving of serious rural issues into the storyline, elevates Six Ways to Sunday into a class of its own. I loved this novel. No use beating around the bush – I loved it, couldn’t put it down and didn’t want it to end.

West Australian writer Fleur McDonald welcomed the publication of her tenth novel this month, with the release of Suddenly One Summer. As a big fan of Fleur’s work, Suddenly One Summer is a romance novel that I am really looking forward to reading. My interest was piqued further by Michelle from Beauty and Lace’s review, as she described McDonald’s latest novel as colourful and heavy on suspense.

The final rural romance release I will be featuring in this month’s round-up is one hot off the press. It is also a novel I personally loved, One More Song by Nicki Edwards. Here is a little taster of my own thoughts at Mrs B’s Book Reviews:

It was a delight to embark on a jaunt to the charming community of Yallambah, through One More Song. The medley of inviting characters, a stunning country backdrop and a remarkable love story, makes One More Song a book that will resonate, long after the final page has come to a rest.

It is great to see a self published title feature in our romance round-up this month. Beat of the Jungle by Erin Moira O’Hara was reviewed by Brenda from Goodreads. Brenda highly recommended this novel to fans of romantic suspense. View the review here.
