Hello again! March already, how time flies. I’ve been on nightshift in the crane again this month which gave me quite a bit of time to read some great books. I hope you have all found some good books to read and hopefully share with us at AWW. Only 8 books were reviewed in this category during February.
Terra Nullis by Claire G Coleman was reviewed once again. I have actually gotten this out of the library to read myself and most reviews give nothing away about this story, so I am interested to see what it is all about. Read a review of Terra Nullis by Kate @ Booksaremyfavouriteandbest
Nevermore was once again very popular, with 5 people leaving reviews. Carolyn says:
“Such a clever, imaginative novel that will delight readers young and old.”
While Jennifer says:
“I loved this novel. I’m recommending it to all of my friends and family members with children, or with an inner child who’d enjoy Morrigan’s journey”.
I myself thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to people of all ages.
HM Waugh – writer gives greater insight into this book. I had no idea it took Jessica Townsend 10 years to write! I for one, am glad she never gave up.
After featuring Liesmith by Alis Frankiln in last month’s round-up, I decided to give it a go for something different to read and I found it to be “a really different read, combining mythology with a futuristic Australian town and an unlikely hero.”
Amie Kaufman seems to be a popular writer with two of her books being reviewed this month.
Kira reviewed Gemina which is book 2 in the Illuminae File series.
She says:
“I love the different format of the way these novels are written. It involves the reader and makes them feel like they are part of the investigation and subsequent trials taking place” and that “There were so many twists and turns in this novel, I couldn’t put it down.”

The other book by Amie Kaufman was Unearthed, the first in a new series reviewed by Elizabeth.
“Inspired by Lara Croft and Indiana Jones, Unearthed is a fun, action-packed adventure. It takes these adventuring archetypes, turns them into teenagers and puts them on a new planet, then adds a hefty dose of romance.”
Kate Forsyth is always a popular author and this month Sarah @ reading the past reviewed The Silver Well in which Kate Forsyth and Kim Wilkins have teamed up for a collection of 7 incredible stories, all original and never-before published. Sarah says:
“The stories are tinged with supernatural happenings. This is a satisfying, multi-dimensional read for anyone who likes pondering history’s deep and intricate layers.”
Cassandra has reviewed book 2 in the The Antipodean Queen trilogy: Silver and Stone by Felicity Banks. She says:
“It is a fast-paced story set in a parallel world to colonial Australia, one with steampunk technology and a slightly more modern feel in certain regards than was the reality”.

Isobel Blackthorn introduces us to a new fantasy novel, Harlequin’s Riddle by Rachel Nightingale, describing it as a sensational debut novel. You should definitely check out her review:
